Our owners, Shane Waller and Cara Mroczek.

Shane and Cara share a deep love of wine and an appreciation for family farms. Cara grew up on a 2,000 acre family farm - which produced grapes, fruit, and other traditional agricultural products. After obtaining their WSET Level II wine certifications, the two began the process of establishing their own farm winery in 2009.

As a family farm, we’re hands-on in the vineyard, present in the cellar, and proud to grow every grape that goes into our wines. Perched more than 1,000 feet above sea level in Strasburg, Virginia, our vineyard thrives in rocky, highland soils that give our wines their bright, expressive character. Every bottle is made on-site, with a commitment to quality, honesty, and everyday enjoyment.
